The majority of work occurs during post production, as I meticulously process, edit and naturally retouch your photos until they meet my obsessively high standards. In addition to the technical execution of a shot, it’s the post production that makes the biggest difference between good and great photography.

I worked several years as lead photo retouch artist for a high-end luxury photography team based in Sarasota, FL long before I entered the ranks as a professional behind the lens. It is this unique experience that has largely shaped my photographic style and the images I produce. During my years as a professional retoucher, I gained invaluable experience on how to treat and bring exceptional value to all my clients.

I shoot and edit with the goal of creating a timeless image. Let’s keep things simple and avoid the sales pitch. I’m a photographer after all, not a salesman. My goal is to create heirloom quality images that last a lifetime, not up-sell you on additional prints and albums.

- For an additional $75, I will travel up to 30 miles beyond Loudoun County
- For longer distances, I’m happy to provide a custom quote to meet your needs

Photo Sessions Are Like Fingerprints. No Two Are The Same.
Example pricing for my various photography services can be seen below. This should give you a general idea of what to expect when preparing to book with CDP.
Ultimately, a client’s quoted rate will be based on several factors in order to meet the needs and parameters of the session requested.
Some important factors to consider when calculating proposals are session length, number of locations, how many edited images you wish to end up with, and whether or not permits might be required (I’m looking at you, National Mall and Memorial Parks in DC).
When contacting CDP to inquire about a photo session, I will ask you several questions in order to understand your goals and what it will take to produce the images your desire. Session photography is a very personal experience, and I believe it’s critically important to get to know my client prior to any shooting.

For individuals requiring a modern and clean corporate headshot, my small home studio in Leesburg, VA works perfectly, and allows me to keep the price down for you.
A standard 30 minute session in the home studio includes:
- Two looks/one outfit change
- Up to 3 of your favorite captures fully edited
- Digital images sized for your online specifications, as well as full size print-ready versions
- Personal-use rights and print release

Musician Portraits
Are you an executive by day, rock star by night?
As a local part time working musician myself, I absolutely love helping fellow musicians with their photography needs. This includes in-studio portraits, lifestyle images that emphasize the who-you-are and what-you’re-about, and dynamic live performance shots. If you’re putting together a press packet or media kit, these are the kinds of photos you’ll need. You only get one chance to make a first impression, so make it count!
The in-studio musician portrait is the same package as my in-studio corporate shots, but will typically have a different vibe than the corporate stuff.

Party & Event Photography Coverage

Private event coverage starts at $175/hr, with a 3 hr minimum.
This includes delivery of all the best image files processed and professionally edited.
Just like my portrait photography sessions, I like to keep pricing simple and up front for event photography. I offer a simple hourly rate with everything you need already included.
In addition to photo coverage, this price includes the following:
- Post-processing and professional editing of all the best images from your event
- Private online gallery for you to access, share, and download your digital images
- Personal use rights and print release for all delivered images
- High resolution full size print-ready digital files
